CHINESE O'S!

reached school at 7.30am when the paper only starts at 8.30am. ~!@#$% if only they told us, we could have gotten a little more sleep.

paper1 was crap. i was crapping away. the hall is cold plus i don't have a jacket and it's raining outside. i wanted to bring one but my sis took all the jackets at home to poland. so i just freeze for the 2hours. paper2 was blahblah. the cloze passage was understandable, at least something we can relate to. the comprehensions especially the open-ended ones is crap. have to all write ourselves. so i have to think real hard how to not copy from the passage and that cost me lots of time and i only manage a sentence each for the last 2 questions. crap.

went home after that. my dad doesn't know i have chinese o's today. slacked a little. finished up my dsa application. did physics tys at night.

tuesday
got to wake up a little later. had geog lesson, english oral which was crap. than band. combine rehearsal. reached home at 7pm. what a day. posted the dsa applications. it's finally done.

my sis came back from poland. finally.

did physics tys instead of english comprehension. that's like almost all that i can do.

wednesday
got to sleep a little later as only need to reach by 11am. wanted to wake up and do english compre but end up sleeping till 10am. ate brunch.

did the compre in aircon room. cool. i still bought lunch even though i wasn't hungry.

practice was boring.

did finish all the english comprehensions except a summary.

thursday
another 7.30am at school. chemistry SPA was alright. had chemistry lesson in the seminar room. had a difficult time copying notes and our chair don't have the flip-on table. organic chemistry is like so cool. learned to name isomers. finally understand what are all the numbers in front of the chemical names. got another english comprehension which i didn't do but did chemistry hw instead.

had combine rehearsal again. was released earlier this time. cool.

tried doing english comprehension but end up talking to my sis instead from band, dsa to my chinese o's. my chinese o's still have hope.

friday
another 7.30am at school. biology SPA. teacher sort of told us the answer to this question before. slept a little. physics was blahblah. chemistry was in seminar room. got back chem test. carelessness cost me 4 marks. crap. at least there's still an A. got chemistry revision papers that teacher printed for us. it's 300++ pages thick. holidays is like so burnt.

slept the afternoon away, trying to cure my terrible headache. after 3hours of sleep, the headache's still there. wth. ate panadol. finally it's cured. there's lots to memorise for chemistry. i suck at qualitative analysis. basically asking my sis every question of the worksheet. alkanes and alkenes is still easier.

basically don't have time to study much. all the rehearsals and practices. want to quickly get over it.




it'll be a long time i'm blogging anytime soon.

tuesday
the sec3s went for taman negara camp. missed those days but should be lucky i went last year, or i will have to fight with my sis for my camp bag which she used for her poland trip.

the start of mother tongue intensive lessons. had chinese from 8-12 in the seminar room. air-con! away from the scorching heat. went through letter writing. really good. all the notes and stuff. but when it's our turn to practice, it was really a disaster. i can't write a letter writing without a dictionary. so had to ask around. in the end, didn't do finish and didn't hand in. got back chinese paper. managed to get a B for paper 1 and 2.

slack for 1 and a half periods. didn't really slack. just look through bio textbook. any random page that i flip to and started reading. physics was doing SPA. teacher say as if the paper is going to be so easy.

amaths test. i did quite fast. so was slacking the last 10minutes or so. teacher keep stand beside me and look at what i'm writing. pressuring. tcw helped me a little or my 1 or 2 marks will be gone. after doing so many of tcw's test paper, i found out that they are not really that difficult after all.

took bus home instead of MRT. make use of the bus concession that she bought and never use. went to northpoint popular and bought tys. i somehow feel some satisfaction after buying the books. weird. went minitoons and started buying sweets. i basically spent most of my money today. my dad was really happy that i bought the tys after finding that i bought it myself and not teacher ask to buy. super weird.

wednesday
chapel was boring. the people behind me was all sleeping. plus the accent that the person talk make it more boring.

day two of mother tongue intensive lessons. talked on compo. after recess, the micophone was somehow spoilt and 2 aircon was also spoilt. was supposed to write a compo but i did tys instead. had amaths. teacher taught plane geometry. a chapter which i don't like cause it's all on proving. but i managed to do one question.

physics SPA wasn't really nice. the beginning was alright but the procedure was so weird. after completing, a started to fall asleep. so i slept. and i suddenly dreamt about the SPA that teacher returned yesterday that has angles and deta that i was woken up. only to realised that they are not required in this SPA. just nice the paper was about to end. wow. a freaked myself out for nothing. don't have much hope on physics already since i screwed up one of the SPA o level exam.

slacked in band room. got part 3 of the thing done. now waiting for part 4 the final step. nice.

monday
chinese was boring. physics just went through tys. amaths was kinematics. ss was on venice. this chapter is boring. so many things to remember for one factor. worst then globalisation. english was watching a movie again. moulin rouge. it was supposed to help us in our narrative writing. everyone suddenly acting weird in geog. weird.


cip after school. went to all saints home in hougang. the people are old and not how i thought it will be like. there was communication problems. they are not interested in doing anything. so just slack around. the guys sing songs for them. nice. the cip wasn't nice.

applied for my first dsa. got to clear some doubt with ws and was encouraged.


tuesday
started on matrix in amaths. like finally. still have one more chapter to go. the canteen is empty again. sec1-3s are having IT day. missed those days. but got used to the studying already. went to the hall during english. got our holiday assignment. how nice. did SPA during biology. getting sick of it. no matter what i right, the max i can get is 2/4. had extra time for physics test. had emaths test straight after. i did quite fast.

went to bio lab to carry on with the experiment for the science project. had some unexpected findings. cool.

wednesday
just feel a little weird. was relieved after talking to mrs lai. i didn't even tell her yet she seems to know. chapel wasn't nice. they just keep on repeating what they have said years ago. chinese was spent sleeping while others get back their exam papers. teacher didn't come. crap. biology was a new topic which was previously in taught in A level. our batch is always the guinea pig for everything. lots of new topic, mostly from A level and we have to study them now. wth.

physics was taken by ss. left after that for rp. it's raining. so took a bus instead of walk. we were 30minutes late but still managed to complete a lot. but when we thought everything was finished, we realised we made a mistake. we used methanol as ascorbic acid. so repeated that part. we forgotten to add the control. so had to repeated over again, plus we threw away most of the samples, so had to like restart from the beginning just to redo that little bit. it was already 4.45pm. so left first for band while anna completed the rest. felt bad. at least my three experimental results are quite close each other and the results was surprising.

rushed for band. they just started the combine with choir i supposed. they sing we played. quite alright. went home late.

thursday
no lessons for today and friday. had 'celebrate life!' seminar in the hall. quite ok. make us reflect and think a lot. basically just crapped in the booklet. did some painting on the canvas. didn't really know how to paint out my thoughts. in the end just anyhow paint it. went to chapel to listen to a talk on psychology course. they are basically selling their school to us. boring.

after recess was again at the chapel on a talk about biotechnology and life sciences. this is at least more interesting. went back to the hall to listen to more crap.

had chemistry test after school. it was easy. finished in 10minutes and slack for the next 10. then it's band. crap. combined in the hall. did the finale which was crap. some stupid dance. i don't even know how to do the actions and they put me in the first row. ~!@#$% watched others play their song. played ours and screwed up. went home late. at least part of the questions was asked. now for step 2.

got photos for my english assignment. thanks to my sis's bf. but i don't know the topic of the photos. better than nothing.

friday
day 2 of 'celebrate life!' seminar.

there was hiccups in the plan but at least the teachers handled it well. at least they made me excited throughout the whole day just for the jc talk. which was the best part of the whole day. the dining etiquette can't be compared to the talk, which i was initially excited about.

was the first group of girls to reach the place and was the only group of girls till about 20 minutes later. choose our table and sat. waited. the social etiquette talk was nice. but my stomach starting protesting halfway of the dining etiquette talk. the talks was beneficial. something just got into me and i wasn't my usual self. just hate those feelings. the food wasn't really nice. just some normal food that i can find in a food court for 5bucks instead of this 35++bucks thing.

took class photos and left for home.

saturday
went for band. lots of people was late. practiced all the songs. step2 was cleared. and i realised that i'm so dependant on calculator that i can't do simple multiplication of 2digit numbers correctly that i scared myself which everything was alright.

did heymaths. i totally forgotten all my sec3 work. just remember some basic things. and i took so long to finish the hardcopy of the work. my sis is going away for 10days. wonder how i'm going to do my homework without her. since 5 of my heymaths assignment was done by her.

she invited her bf over for dinner. my parents bought so many food and cooked a lot of dishes. at least my sis got a good dinner before she leave for poland.

the 6 of us squeeze into the car and set off for the airport. on the way talked about some airport restrictions about liquid. they don't even allow water on board. reached the departure hall and walked the whole place before realising that we were at first so close to the meeting place. my sis was supposedly one of those people with the whole family there. so weird. but still nice. waited while she checked-in. in the meantime, so pilots and cabin crews. so cool. suddenly, i feel that i want to be a pilot again.

bought ice-cream. and suddenly everyone around me is eating the same ice-cream.


just realised that my sis will not be around when i'm taking my chinese O's and will only be back the next day when i'm having band. so can't fetch her.

monday
i don't know what i'm up to in the morning. wore my nametag, haven't wear school badge than walk away. totally forgotten till i'm in the car nearly reaching the mrt. so didn't bother. took the mrt without realising that my ez-link card is at home somewhere. so had to buy standard ticket. lucky i had the money, or i don't know what i will do. so managed to borrowed a school badge. so it's just school.

the school's unusually quiet with everyone taking exams and the sec3s not around. recess is even better. our class get the whole canteen to ourselves as we are the only one that has recess at 10am. nice. occasionally there's others but still it's at least better than normal days.

english was spent watching a french movie. had to read the subtitles to understand. soon learnt that we had to write a composition after watching the movie. the movie was to help us get some ideas. ss test was sucky. i studied those that never come out. those that are coming out i don't know a single thing. plus it's essay = sure fail. i was writing nonsense. so i spent the past few days studying for nothing. ~!@#$%

tuesday
today was better. i don't know. maths was always that entertaining, with teacher going around hitting people's head and pumping them. no one complain about it too. weird.

ss was free period. i suddenly dislike free period. make us waste our time, end up cannot finish syllabus than we suffer. how nice is this. english was spent finishing up the movie. the movie is kind of scary with that type of person suffering from some kind of mental illness. amaths remedial was spent doing some super difficult questions. wonder where teacher get the questions from. luckily it won't come out in olevels unless with lots of guidance.

wednesday
my bag's super heavy. brought all my books just in case teacher need. end up didn't use a single one. our lessons was spent doing SPA [science practical assessment]. how 'relaxing' is this.

it rained super heavily in the morning. the sheltered way to school was flooded very badly. my shoe and socks were all wet. crap.

finally started on the stp experiment. not really very complicated, but need some skills to do it well. just nice, ws borrowed my physics tys, so i have one less book to carry home. i start to dread going to rp. the road from the mrt to the school is such a long one but still have to walk. did the experiment. make me remember of the time in biopolis. nice. had to do another one next week. that means i'll miss band. nevermind.

went to causeway point to look at shoes but somehow, i can't find the shop. the shop somehow shifted. few months only. now have to go to amk hub to find one. as i don't trust the quality of the one in sun plaza. so i spent about 20minutes walking around causeway point aimlessly.

took mrt home. nearly took the wrong train. i got so used to standing at the jurong east side that i forgotten that i'm going towards marina bay. luckily i found at the last minute before the train arrives.






sometimes, if we are just willing to think harder, the answers will all just float out of our brain like flood water.

today's 'shutdown day'. it means 'abandoning' all technology for a day. but obviously i didn't and i can't too. there's homework online and it's due tomorrow 6am. unless i don't sleep.


but if i really off, there's still lots of things for me to do. like study. but i think i use computer more than i study. been studying ss, but nothing seems to go in. just keep on writing until my hand pain still only remember a few. crap. plus there's so many to remember.

the weather is terrible lately. so very hot. when will it ever rain?

the renovation next door is driving me nuts. they only stop on public holidays, sundays and saturday after 4pm. they start as early a 9am. how the hell am i going to study like that? it's like so peaceful everytime they stop drilling. got so used to the silence that a little noise and it's like hell.

there's something wrong with youtube. make me waste one hour. ~!@#$%

my dad doesn't know what is 'reproduction in humans'! omg. he doesn't even know what's reproduction! lolx.




need to force myself to study already. i'm getting addicted to facebook and youtube.

had a weird pe lessons today.

the sky is really dark. cloudy all over but teacher still want us to go to the basketball court. the wind is cooling for once. no more hot air. watch the guys play first before we joined in. played boys vs girls in basketball. teacher stopped the game as only the guys and a few girls are playing. so played mixed. then only the guys play. cause the girls don't know how to shoot.

so teacher came up with another game. 2 person, holding hands will start catching people. everyone will run away to prevent getting caught. once a person is caught, he/she will have to join with the current 2. so the chain of people will slowly be longer. had a fun time running around. nice. after everything. we went back. it was sunny all along. the wind blew the clouds away.

biology was exceptionally quiet. everyone listened to teacher teach. wow.

i like the exam week. we have the whole canteen to ourselves as only our class has recess at 10am.
