it's a warm warm day. it's practically like a sauna everywhere. even in the mrt. i had to stand near the middle to get some air-con. even then, it's still warm. people are sweating in an air-conditioned place. wow.

had chinese prelims. i was shocked that it was in the classroom and not in the hall. the heat is going to kill us. the first few minutes was terrible. even though i sit near the fan, but i can feel the heat blowing.

did paper one. didn't expect to write so much. didn't know i can crap so much either. just hope that the results come out nice. paper two was blahblahblah. everyone was scrambling to finish the comprehension which was a little weird. those that i don't know just anyhow write crap.

ended early, so went home early. my dad was clever enough to guess that i had exam even though i never tell him as i would only be back early if i had exams. i really feels great to be home early, but the construction next door is driving me nuts.

tests tests and more tests. it's worst then exams. having one next week again. crap.

this week has been wonderful. lots of unexpected things happened.

parents went overseas. so had to be independent for a few days. had to cook ourselves and wash the dishes. so not nice. but the only nice part is can watch tv not that i can't watch tv when they are home. their going away didn't really affect me much as i'm mostly in school.

some unhappy stuff in school but i'll just let it pass since it's just some little things.

the talk of the week is the upcoming 'dining etiquette'. everyone is busy finding partner. i didn't really bother about that. i'll just let nature take it's cause. today's where all the surprises unfold. nice.

twc didn't come the whole week till today. it's really good. no one even care if she's here. why would they?

some terrible stuff happened yesterday. why everyone is happy and all, something will just have to spoil it. why can't let us relax after all these stressful days?

since week 4, we have at least a test every week. welcome to the sec4 life. teachers give test like nobody's business. we have to study for test like hell. at least there's a holiday soon. but i can foresee that more homework is coming our way. the teachers won't let us rest till o level is over.

my sis got me something to wear for dining etiquette so now i only have to buy heels to match as my sis's one is way too high.

another challenging week coming up ahead. chinese prelims on tuesday. don't know if i can meet my target which somehow add up to an A2, which is like HIGH. but teacher say that i can make it. then i'll just have to work hard to meet the target.

work hard and play hard everyone!

the career talk during white space was interesting. didn't know the singapore air force is so interesting. but the thought of going for BMT [basic military training] puts me off. the figther planes are like so cool. i still prefer the SIA kind of pilot.

i shall stop thinking about career paths know. it's really giving me a headache. as you can see, i'm not good at making decision and easily swayed.

should i be glad that our mid-year isn't tomorrow? but all the tests make up for it, so what's the difference?

it's really good to have older siblings to talk to. especially about things that the are going through or have gone through. good advice.

I'm fortunate in a sense that i have a sister that's older than me by a few years, enough for her to let me know things that i want to know. which is really good. talk for about 30 minutes on university courses and future job prospects. it's like still so far away for me, to say that i haven't even took my O level yet. but it's really good to know so that we are prepared for all things. and actually, university course depends on the subjects taken at A level. so it's not really very far away.

so the top students all study either medicine, dentistry, law or accountancy as my sis say. so i said i want to study pharmacy and was told that medicine and dentistry rejects go there, and they usually drop out after 1 year or less as it's really bad. have to memorise the names of all drugs, their common and chemical name, side effects, etc. so that made me think further if it's really my choice but the stable job that it awaits if quite ok but the pay isn't really high and it's 'shit'.

so it all goes back to the subjects at A level, which was also discussed. still thinking if i should take physics or biology with chemistry and maths + economics. oh crap. but i should think about it only after my O levels. why bother thinking about it now and using up brain cells?

at least i got my sis's support to study pharmacy.(: really nice of her.

so now it's all out for O's so that i can be one step closer to my 'dream'.

band was crap. been there for only 1hour and was dismissed. crap. so slack a while in the band room. than off i go. my plan is to waste as much time as possible. don't want my parents to ask so much questions. so walk around sun plaza. just walk up and down and just nice miss a bus. so walk some more.

eventually reach home at 11.30am. i successfully wasted 90 minutes of my life when i still have lots of studying to do. at least i still manage to get work done. biology worksheet, heymath work, physics spa skill 3 and amaths test revision.

more still needs to be done. i haven't start revising for prelim 1 yet!!!

lots of time happened yesterday. nice.

was excited in the morning about going to vjc. and there's a good news that those going can take chem test tomorrow, which is today. sweet. but i wasted one night reading the book. chapel wasn't nice. supposedly, most people was quite high today as the noise level was unusually high.

during chinese did i realised that my textbook disappeared. biology lesson was funny. teacher entertained us with his funny drawing of fruits. we were surprised that he was able to draw biological draws very well but the fruits he draw is like super funny.

didn't eat recess as lunch will be in 90minutes time but the guys decided that we will eat lunch when we reach bedok. so luckily i bought honey stars or i'll just die. trained with ws elias daniel joash darren all the way till bedok. the train ride was quite funny. elias was blasting music out of the ipod to shut off my noise which wasn't really successful. me and ws unbuckle all the clips on his bag to annoy him. after reaching bedok, we thought lunch was coming as there's a hawker centre next to the interchange. but looking at the time, we didn't want to run late, so lunch was skipped. survived on the remains of my honey star. took a bus there, but since neither of us went there before, we didn't know where to stop. so we alighted after seeing something that looks like a junior college. only to realised that it's temasek jc instead. luckily another bus came soon after and throughout the ride, we were all looking out of the window to look for landmarks which people remember which is near vjc.

walked, reached, and the school's security guard is like so much nicer. the lecture theatre is big. at least bigger than the one that i went at rjc. did our written test at 2pm. only did 13 out of 30 questions. had school tour after that. the school is big but the places are messy. anyway, what's on all our mind was the refreshments. the refreshments was nice. we really eat a lot. an average of 3 plates per person. there's 4 pieces of bun/bread/cake on the plate. so our lunch was sort of free since we didn't pay for this. went back to the LT to watch the finals. hwa chong, maris stella, raffles instituition, river valley. basically just wasted time there. got our certificate. nice.

bus-ed back to bedok and trained to city hall. we were running to catch the train which is impossible to catch. didn't want to be late for the esplanade concert. dinner with the guys was cancelled as we were running. so they wasted their time and money to accompany us there. so my dinner was bread from breadtalk. pathetic. walked from city hall via city link mall to esplanade which is a super long distance. we reached there first so had to wait for the rest but supposedly, we were waiting at the wrong place. luckily i found out. or we will just be sitting outside watching the free performance by a pianist and flutist. they played 'first love' which was super nice.

still managed to get in to the concert hall. didn't expect there to be strings. so this really is an orchestra concert. saw our tutor performing. the concert wasn't really nice. i still prefer classical symphonic sound rather than orchestra sound. the strings are screechy expecially at the high notes. but i should say that the concert was good. exposure to different kinds of music. but the conductor walking in and out of the stage is really annoying and the applause is really very noisy.

brought bread again and train-ed home. bus-ed home. by the time i reach home, it's 11.30pm already. crap. only managed to fall asleep at around 1-2 am. crap.

the extreme fatigue got into me and i fell asleep during chinese while still listening. powerful.

a very interesting day i had for the first day of the week. WOW!

i'm very high today.

electromagnetism isn't nice. got all the confusing hand rules. so crap. amaths was basically quite crap too. sine cosine tangent. getting sick of differentiation... geog tests is crap. i just can't simply switch from what i have studied to apply to the required question when it's all about the same. crap. basically everything was crap.

physics consultation with mr ng after school was funny and confusing. circular motion is like so difficult to understand. momentum is still easier.

i know it doesn't sound interesting. but who cares....

nothing really much happened or i just can't remember them. all i'm thinking is study study and more study. i'm like brainwashing myself to study. yet i haven't do anything much.

it's like 20+ days to my first prelim paper and 40+ days to my first O level paper and i'm still a little slack.

the world is going at a very fast pace. 2days of not using the computer is enough to make you miss out on a lot of stuff. the world is so connected. all thanks to globalisation which is why we are currently studying it in SS.

received our 'Arise, Shine!' tickets. it's only 3 but it's like so expensive. $15 for one at some neighbourhood place. an esplanade ticket cost much less.
